INTRODUCTION
Vasudha Foundation USA INC is working towards developing a detailed energy access and climate action tracker for Africa in partnership with the ACCESS Coalition (Alliance of Civil Society Organisations for Clean Energy Access). The dashboard is being developed in multiple phases. The phase 1 of the dashboard is work in progress.

Key Metrics:
- Year on year progress on household electrification and energy access across Africa
- Year on year investments for energy access across Africa covering key financial institutions such as AfDB, World Bank and other bodies such as International Financial Institutions
- Geographic indication of energy access projects with geo-codes wherever possible and feasible- showing types of projects, sources of energy, funders etc. Details of energy access projects in terms of coverage of use - lighting, heating, appliances, productive use of energy - both farm and non-farm etc
- Estimates of GHG reduction due to these projects

Quantitative Impacts of Energy Access Projects for a few select Countries:

Qualitative impacts of energy access projects only for 4-6 countries, namely, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Zambia and Ethiopia. These qualitative impacts would include and not be restricted to
- Impact on income and livelihoods
- Number of beneficiaries impacted and how
- Number of new jobs created
The phase II of the dashboard would include data on covering the entire electricity value chain across Africa.
